Schuler-Haas Electric Corp. team

Our History

Schuler-Haas Electric Corp. with locations in Rochester, Ithaca, Binghamton, and Corning, NY has been a leader in electrical contracting since 1961. The business was started by Jack Schuler, George Haas, and Joyce Donnelly in the basement of Jack’s father’s house. After experiencing steady growth, they moved to 224 Mt. Hope in 1964 where they remained for 36 years. In 2000, a significant change occurred as Jack and George retired and were bought out by Dan Streicher and Jack’s son Edward Schuler. They moved the company to a 16,000-foot facility located just across the street. Throughout the years they integrated the latest technologies to help their clients take advantage of the newest in telecommunications, fiber optics, solar arrays, and design/build services.

Our FUTURE

Beginning in 2022, the future of Schuler-Haas Electric will look to our new Executive Team in keeping the core values of the company in place. The same principles that started with Jack Schuler and George Haas in 1961, carried forward by Dan Streicher and Ed Schuler beginning in 2000, will continue under the leadership of Dan Yonts as the Executive Vice-President, Jason Clark the Director of Project Management and Estimating, Jeremy Frederici the Vice-President for our Ithaca Operations and Nick Schuler our CFO.

“Doing the Right Thing” has been our core value throughout the years and these four individuals will continue to execute its importance to our employees, customers, suppliers, and the communities in which we live.  As the company moves forward under new leadership, Schuler-Haas Electric Corp. will continue to improve the quality of life in the communities in which we live.

“WIRED FOR THE GREATER GOOD’’ will be our model as we continue to improve people’s lives by building schools for better education, hospitals to improves ones’ health, solar projects that will create cleaner power, children’s museums for recreation.
